Evaluation

A three-day evaluation is required for every dog joining daycare. The evaluation period gives our staff the opportunity to understand your dog’s play style and energy level before introducing them to a larger group. It also helps your dog become comfortable with our team, the new environment, and the sights, sounds, and smells of daycare. Even if they have been to daycare before, this evaluation is required.

If at any point during the evaluation, we feel that the dog is not a good fit for daycare, we reserve the right to fail them from their evaluation and ask you to pick them up right away. For this reason, please choose a date/time for their evaluation that you will be available to pick up early if needed.

If the staff determines that the dog will need an extra day in evaluation to get used to the surroundings — shy, nervous dogs — we have the right to require an additional day to ensure their success at the Academy.
